Step 1: Download Windows Photo Viewer

From the Apps settings window, click on the Default apps option located under the Apps navigation pane as highlighted above. In the Default apps settings click on the Photo Viewer option located under the Choose default apps heading as shown above.

After clicking on the Photo Viewer option a pop-up box will appear asking you to choose the default app from the listed apps as shown above. You can see that the Classic Windows Photo Viewer has been now added to the list as shown above. Simply click on the Windows Photo Viewer option to apply it as the default app for the photo Viewer for Windows 10.
